IN LINE with plans to strengthen its route network in the Asia Pacific, Emirates will on September 1 increase frequency to Perth, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, and launch daily services to Beijing. Its service to Perth will become double daily, the second daily being served with a Boeing 777-200 aircraft, offering 18 tonnes of cargo capacity. The timetable has been designed for quick and convenient connections between Perth and the Middle East as well as Europe. The airline will then serve Australia with 49 weekly flights to four gateways – Perth, SydnAey, Melbourne and Brisbane. Three additional flights will be offered between Dubai and Hong Kong while Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, will be served nine times a week.
