CARGO INFO Africa, FTW's sister publication on the Internet, is making waves worldwide, as this letter from a reader in Europe illustrates.

Dear Editor,
I have had a look at the tariff schedule available on your web site which appears to be very comprehensive.
Would your company be willing to undertake a contract project for the European Commission which involves linking at HS4 level all the SA customs clearance documents as well as any other SA regulatory requirements that have to be satisfied?
The idea here would be that an EU exporter to SA would enter the HS4 code under which their product is classified and could in return receive the list of documents.

Mark Vandeyar,
DGI European Commission,
Brussels
