EAS cuts down airport hand-out times

TAKING THE “sameday express” market by storm is Expressair Services (EAS) - which in 12-months has brought its service delivery to what divisional director (domestic) Neil Harris describes as “new heights”. This, he told FTW, because the company is constantly achieving the following hand-out times at the major airports - from aircraft chocks-on, to cargo ready for hand-out. “Johannesburg, 24-minutes; Cape Town, 22-mins; Durban 15-mins; Port Elizabeth and George both 15-mins,” Harris said. “These compared to the next best offer of 45 to 60-minutes. “If reports from customers and our sales are anything to go by, this level of efficiency has never been offered to the domestic market before - and is unmatched by our competitors.” It comes from the EAS closed loop logistical chain, Harris added. “We have leveraged and streamlined it even more so as to give the customer the “EAS Value for Money” concept we always talk about!”
