No Tariff Amendments – 09 March 2007 Insertion of a new tariff subheading for twine, cordage, ropes and cables, whether or not plaited or braided and whether or not impregnated, coated, covered or sheathed with rubber or plastics, of jute or other textile bast fibres. Insertion of a new tariff subheading for floodlights and spotlights designed for use solely or principally in theatre, stage, television or film productions. No Tariff Applications – 09 March 2007 There were no tariff applications at the time of publication. Proposed Tariff Amendments – 04 April 2007 Effective from April 04, 2007 there will be an increase in the general fuel levy of 5c/l for both petrol and diesel, taking the levy on these products to 121c/l and 105c/I respectively. Trade Remedy Applications – 09 March 2007 There were no trade remedy applications at the time of publication. Trade Remedy Applications – Response Due This notice replaces the anti-dumping notice of 19 January 2007 on the initiation of an investigation into the alleged dumping of citric acid originating in or imported from the People’s Republic of China (China). Please note that the Government Gazette incorrectly makes mention of the notice appearing in the Government Gazette of 02 February 2007. In accordance with the original publication, comment was due on 19 February 2007. The period for comment has now, effectively, been extended until 02 April 2007.
