Nuclear Vessel Licence Application Eskom has applied for a Nuclear Vessel Licence in terms of the National Nuclear Regulator Act. The application was made to enable a non nuclearpowered vessel to dock in Cape Town harbour over the period November 2014 to December 2014, for the purpose of transporting nuclear fuel destined for the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station. Written comment to the chief executive officer, National Nuclear Regulator, is due by 22 September 2014. Trade mission invitations The Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) has invited participation in a Trade and Investment Mission to Kenya and Tanzania from 16-20 February 2015, and Uganda from 11-14 November 2014. The objective of the missions is to increase trade and investment between the countries. The closing date for applications for Kenya and Tanzania is 30 September 2014 and Uganda 14 September 2014.
