Air Namibia touched down
at King Shaka International
Airport (KSIA) in Durban
on its inaugural flight last
Sunday (30 October).
Vincent Zwane, marketing
and communications officer
for Dube Tradeport – a
logistics and development
business entity of the
KwaZulu Natal provincial
government – said the new
route would directly connect
Durban to Gaborone and
Windhoek.
Using an Embraer ERJ
135 jet, the flight will
operate four times a week,
departing Windhoek early in
the morning on a Monday,
Wednesday, Friday and
Sunday and will include stops
at Botswana’s capital city and
in Durban.
