Dig-out port time lines still uncertain

There is still no definite timeline for the dig-out of the old Durban International Airport (DIA) for a new port, according to Transnet executive and former port engineer, Chris Matchett. With the purchase agreement having been reached between airport owner Airports Company of SA (Acsa) and Transnet, the big question remains, what’s the next step for the dig-out port? But, Matchett told FTW: “I don’t think this is clear at this stage.”
