SWISS-BASED international freight and logistics company Danzas has joined forces with Deutsche Post in a move designed to provide a new dimension of services to customers of both companies.
Danzas, which employs 16 000 people worldwide, will continue to operate as an autonomous company with unchanged management, name and domicile in Basel.
Deutsche Post, Europe's largest postal and logistics firm, with 250 000 employees, will contribute expertise and financial strength to the development of the expanded group.
Deutsche Post's interest in Danzas will enable us to take advantage of a strong capital base and new vaue-added services to achieve our strategic goals more quickly, Danzas SA m.d. Axel von Sametzki told FTW.
