CMA CGM, and the Spanish Group Progosa have signed an agreement with the Republic of Togo for the building and operation of a container terminal in the port of Lomé, Togo. Over the next ten years the partners intend to invest approximately 45 million euros. CMA CGM’s long term objective is to create a hub port in Lomé, offering relay to all West African ports, in particular for increasing volumes of cargo coming from China and Asia.
