Dangerous goods courses scheduled nationwide

A SERIES of two-day practical training courses on the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code will be held in June this year in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town facilitated by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS ) in association with A-Cubed Institute. Developed by the UK P&I Club, the courses will offer insight and clarity on the IMDG code, supported by documentation and practical exercises designed to ensure participants understand the code’s operational requirements and obligations. There are two separate courses catering on the one hand for shipping lines and their agents, and on the other for freight forwarders and shippers.
