Two of the eight ship-to-shore cranes at the Port of Cape Town are expected to be back up and running this week.
The two cranes have both been out of commission for the past two weeks for structural warranty repairs, according to a spokesman for Transnet Port Terminals (TPT).
Despite having only six cranes operational, the spokesman said the port had continued to operate as per usual and the repairs had had no known impact on operations.
