TABLE BAY is increasingly
seeing a host of weird and
wonderful-looking vessels
and cargo loads to match,
the Chinese heavylift
ship Zhen Hua 13 a fine
example as she anchored
off the port of Cape Town
recently.
Sailing from Singapore
around the Cape of Good
Hope bound for Portugal
and Spain, the vessel
carried deck cargo of
four container gantries
protruding over both sides.
While in the Mother
City port, she took on
bunkers and underwent
some work to her engines.
