AIR ZIMBABWE will fill the
gap on the Harare-London
route created British Airways’
(BA) suspension of its service
at the end of this month.
The airline will add
two more flights on its
Harare/London route in its
Northern winter schedule in
October, bringing its weekly
frequencies on the route to
five.
BA announced last
week that the route was
no longer viable. Its plans
have already affected UKbased
Zimbabwean freight
companies who are also
straining under new changes
to customs clearance
procedures and fees in
Harare.
