The legal action against the SA National Roads Agency Ltd (Sanral) e-tolling scheme on Gauteng freeways is due to be held in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria next Tuesday (April 24), according to Gavin Kelly, technical and operations manager of the Road Freight Association (RFA). The legal case against the tolls, he added, was lodged by the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa) – a general grouping of anti-toll bodies – and an application for an urgent interdict will be put before the High Court.
