THE SIXTH Intermodal Africa 2008 exhibition and conference in Ghana will kick off with a discussion on how to keep up with accelerated growth in containerised freight. Scheduled for February 28-29, the international event will be hosted by the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority who have lined up a 30-strong panel of global transport and logistics experts who will examine key challenges facing industry players, current progress in infrastructure development and the opportunities and threats facing the maritime sector. According to the organisers, Intermodal Africa is the largest annual container ports, shipping and transport logistics expo in Africa Some 700 delegates are expected to attend the event which includes space for 100 exhibitors.
