ONE MONTH since the launch of its seafreight service, neutral consolidator Cosmotrans is finding growing demand for this new addition to its portfolio. Synonymous in the industry with airfreight consolidations, the company launched a seafreight arm on November 1. Hendrik Potgieter, who has many years of seafreight experience, has been appointed to head up the division. “We’ve launched the service in response to the needs of our customers for whom an air and sea option under one roof is a bonus,” says managing director John Diviani. The service is offered to all destinations worldwide for imports and exports. “Our post-flight department, which follows up on every shipment, providing customers with updated tracking information at every stage of the journey, will also be a feature of the seafreight service,” he said.
