Company plans to build a power station plant in Moz

Indian steel and power company, Jindal Steel & Power, plans to build a US$400-million power station in Mozambique and expects to sign an agreement to sell electricity to the southern African country by the end of 2015.

"We can start building immediately after commercial agreement,” Ashish Kumar, Jindal Africa CEO, reportedly told Reuters on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum African (WEF) conference last week. He noted that it was a 30-month project for the 150-megawatt plant.
