INDEPENDENT GROUPAGE operator CFR Freight has added Mumbai, India to its growing portfolio of direct import services into Cape Town. “It’s been a target area for growth not only for CFR, but for the SA market as a whole,” says national marketing and sales manager Sean Petzer. Strengthening the Cape Town profile has been a clear focus, says Petzer. The company currently offers direct import services from sixteen origin ports into the Mother City. “The Cape Town office has also achieved huge export success with many wine shipments moving successfully to various destinations across the world. “The recent visit from our USA agent Shipco cemented already strong relationships with clients on the USA route.” CFR recently moved into new premises in Cape Town at Airport Industria housing its sea and airfreight divisions under one roof.
