Century adds service muscle in East Africa

CENTURY SHIPS Agencies has formed an alliance with the East African ships agent, Eastern Ships Agency (ESA), according to CenturyÕs Terry Harding. As agents for Seacape Shipping, which provides a westbound breakbulk service from Japan, Korea and South East Asia to South and East African ports, his company has procured business into East Africa from both the Far East and South Africa which has motivated the partnership link-up, he told FTW ESA is registered in Kenya and specialises in providing ships agency services to break-bulk vessels, crude oil tankers and refined product tankers. The company operates out of offices in Nairobi, Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. "It has also established a sound rapport with the Kenya Ports Authority and TanzaniaÕs Harbours Authority, as well as petroleum refineries, to ensure efficient handling of all port and cargo operations," said Harding.
