Zimbabwe’s cash flow woes are no secret. A local telecom tycoon thinks he has found the answer in bringing mobile-based money services to the currency-challenged country, reports CCN Money. Strive Masiyiwa, founder of Econet Wireless, wants to turn the company’s mobile wallet technology, EcoCash, into Zimbabwe’s primary method of payment, essentially replacing printed currency with digital money.
