Like its counterpart in print, the new online version - launched in February - provides a user-friendly guide to changes in the SA tariff dispensation and amendments to customs and excise legislation. In addition, Duty Calls Online provides an overview of customs and trade in South Africa, including issues like determination of duties, customs valuation, the harmonised system and rules of interpretation. The information will be updated weekly and invites questions from readers on issues of general interest.
