Cape Crating adds By Liesl Venter stevedoring

Specialised cargo handling company Cape Crating is continuing to expand its capabilities. The company has added stevedoring to its growing service portfolio which ranges from rigging, transport, warehousing and packing to crating and container loading/ offloading. “The idea,” says co-owner Owen Bottomley, “is to to have one company handling your clients’ cargo from door to ship and ship to door.” The Cape Townbased owner-managed company has a staff of over 40 people.
