The SA Chamber of Commerce and
Industry’s Business Confidence
Index (BCI) was marginally down
to 98.4 last month from 98.6 in
August and 5.2 points below the
September 2010 level. The smaller
month-on–month changes in
August and September suggest that
the strong decline in July 2011 has
been curtailed.
