Following the signing of a joint venture with a bulk handling company, CHC Resources now offers a complete supply chain solution from its new bulk facility at the port of Richards Bay. Logistics manager for the group, Sayed Mohammed, told FTW that all in-house cargo could now be stored, managed and distributed from the new 15 000-sqm on-site warehouse. “There has been huge growth for CHC from the bulk side of the business, particularly with improved trade between South Africa and the Asian countries,” he said. The company moves 20 000-40 000 tons of bulk product per month.
