Asian trading major sets up in Durban

A HONG Kong-based international commodity trader, the Noble Group, recently established offices in Durban, where its core activity will be the bulk supply of oils and fats to the edible oil and soap making industries. According to a Noble Group spokesperson, Noble will also trade rice to wholesalers and plans to trade in a variety of other agri products. With offices in over 30 countries, the Singapore-listed Noble Group is Asia’s largest diversified trading company.
