CAPE TOWN-based legal firm AntwerpLaw sees itself as a legal bridge between South Africa and Belgium/Europe.
Growing demand from European clients for a locally-based operation to deal with South African-related legal matters is what motivated the opening of the company several years ago.
“Manned by a European-trained advocate, we can offer legal assistance to South African colleagues or shippers trading with Belgium or Europe. We can also assist companies planning to set up a subsidiary in Belgium or Europe,” says AntwerpLaw’s Dirk de Beule.
De Beule invites lawyers interested in collaborating to send an email to info@antwerplaw
The company offers a full range of legal services, says De Beule, but its services go beyond the traditional and include the dissemination of a ÔLegal Updates’ newsletter three times a year. Anyone who would like to receive a copy at no charge should email De Beule who will gladly add them to the mailing list.
Always a keen promoter of Antwerp, De Beule points out that it still has a very large Ôback yard’ for all kinds of warehousing, distribution and logistics facilities.
