AMENDMENTS TO RULING

The additional option
to Method 1 in MN
30 is headed Option
3 and states:
“Weigh the entire
vehicle and container
= gross mass.
Ascertain the tare
mass of the entire
vehicle as indicated
in its registration
documents issued
by the competent
authority.”
After subtracting
the tare mass of
the vehicle from
the gross mass, the
remaining mass
would indicate the
VGM of the container
plus contents.
In its recognition
of sub-contractors,
the amendment in
MN 30 lays down
five points, details
