The CFR Freight airfreight
office in Durban recently
launched the new WebCargo
Net multi-tool system to
help freight forwarders manage their
airfreight expenses better.
“We are excited to be able to
give our KwaZulu customers more
informed, immediate information at
the click of a button,” said airfreight
general manager Stephen Bishop,
highlighting that the system had now
been launched across the country,
with over 500 clients already having
access.
He describes the WebCargoNet
system as a “unique tool for freight
forwarders”, providing a secure
gateway to all airfreight market rates
that are centralised and accessible on
a 24/7 basis.
“The system helps the customer
capture all of their promo, contract
and market tariffs for all of their
carriers around the country onto an
online platform.” Bishop explained
“By using the system, the forwarder is
able to quote, find the closest airport
for the shipment, have a centralised
track and trace portal, and view all
the airline schedules around the
world.”
