Acsa reports profit, reduces tariffs

Acsa CEO, Bongani Maseko.

Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) reported revenue growth of 34% to R8.6bn in the year ended March 31, 2017, with profit up 10.8% to R2bn, at the Acsa Annual Financial Results Announcement held at the Hyatt Regency Johannesburg yesterday (September 18).

Bongani Maseko, CEO of Acsa, said the company continued to be resilient, despite sluggish economic growth, noting that it had managed to significantly reduce its debt levels over the past five years.

“The overall financial position of the company therefore remains healthy, despite regulatory uncertainty and difficult economic conditions,” Maseko concluded.
