ZIMBABWE’S MINISTRY of Industry and International Trade has banned the export of plant and machinery from the country to prevent potential de-industrialisation, according to The Herald of Zimbabwe.
The farming industry is among those affected with former farmers trying to export their machinery to neighbouring countries, especially Mozambique and Zambia, where they have been offered land, says the report.
