Zanzibar flights launched

Fastjet has officially launched flights between Johannesburg and Zanzibar, as well as Dar es Salaam and Nairobi.

“We expect to grow our footprint in South Africa over the next 12 months, and we are hoping to get the correct permits to start flights between Harare and Johannesburg, which we wish to operate at least double daily. We are also looking to link Johannesburg with Victoria Falls, and thereby grow operations in Zimbabwe,” fastjet coo, Richard Bodin told eTNW

According to COO Richard Bodin, the airline is also planning to expand to Zambia. “As soon as we get permission to fly from Lusaka to Johannesburg, we will start flights on that route,” he said.
