Nigeria’s World Trade Centre, located in the capital city of Abuja, is set to open early next year, according to media reports.
CNN Africa reported that the centre would join a network of 323 locations in 89 countries, initiated in 1970 with the inauguration of the first World Trade Centre in New York City.
The US$1bn WTC Abuja is being funded by local and foreign financial institutions, as well as private investors.
