UPS SCS has entered phase 2 of its learnership programme with six students set to learn the basics of the complex shipping world. “In the first phase, five students participated, with two completing the Global Trade Training curriculum,” UPS SCS South Africa MD Paul Horsfall told FTW. “This is an international course and students learn the basics of the freight industry. Another student sat the courier course, learning that aspect of the freight industry.” The courses are held in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
