UK and SA roads have something in common

Anyone taking advantage of
their ancestry to move to the
UK will find roads littered
with potholes.
So much so that the RAC
estimates that UK motorists
are making a claim for
compensation for damage
caused by potholes every 17
minutes.
Matt Dyer, managing
director of LeasePlan UK,
comments: “Filling in
potholes is no substitute
for modernising Britain’s
road network. Part of the
reason why there are
so many potholes in the
first place is because the
roads are aged and decrepit.”
The RAC has developed
a free app for motorists to
report potholes.
