BEWARE the other side of babyface tugmaster Brandall Johns.
At night he is transformed into the Archangel - angel of the highest rank - out to wreak vengeance on his prey in the professional wrestling ring.
But just as there are good guys and bad guys in cowboy movies, so, apparently, there are too in wrestling. Johns professes to be one of the good guys from the old school. I don't break the rules and rely on good technique while the villains will even scratch and bite.
Coming from a former naval background, Johns has worked his way up to the rank of petty officer with Portnet in five years and does the job of a workboat tug master on the Blue Jay, assisting ships in and out of Cape Town harbour.
Life was not always this good for Johns, however. He did time as a mini-bus caller - Cape Town! Cape Town! - and then captured data, but wanted to be close to the sea which explains why he accepted a GPR (general purpose rating) job at Portnet, earning much less than previously.
Johns is currently engrossed in a management development programme, studying on a Portnet bursary, and hopes to earn his B.Com Hons.
