Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) has appointed Luvuyo Hobo as a terminal operations manager (TOM) for both the Port Elizabeth and Ngqura container terminals. This follows the promotion of previous TOM Chuma Butshingi to the Transnet Group. Hobo, who has been in logistics for some time, joined the terminal operations in 2009 as planning manager and was later appointed as an operations manager. “My priority is to take the performance of Port Elizabeth and Ngqura container terminals to new heights and give customers excellent value for money. It goes without saying, however, that this is not possible without the employees’ support and valued external stakeholders,” says Hobo.
