Reddy moves to FPT Terry Hutson TON BESTENBREUR has been re-appointed manager of the Durban Container Terminal effective since April 1. He succeeds Zeph Ndlovu who has transferred to the Continuous Improvement division at SA Port Operations’ head office. During the 1990s Bestenbreur managed the Durban Container Terminal before taking up the post of managing director of an Italian port container terminal. He later returned to South Africa as manager of Fresh Produce Terminals at the port of Durban. In what is almost a case of musical chairs Denny Reddy, who was previously manager of the Port Elizabeth Container Terminal, has taken up Bestenbreur’s managerial post at the Durban Fresh Produce Terminal. Reddy also previously held management positions at the port of Richards Bay. In a related move Mike Fell, also a former Durban Container Terminal man who served with Bestenbreur in Italy, has transferred from Durban Fresh Produce Terminal as manager of the Port Elizabeth FPT. All these moves are with immediate effect.
