THE CONFEDERATION of Indian Industry (CII) has a direct membership of more than 3 700 companies - both public and private sector - with a capital investment of over US$65-billion.
It has 26 regional offices in India, and 10 overseas - in Bremen, Cologne, Jerusalem, Johannesburg, Kathmandu, London, Paris, Singapore, Tashkent and Washington DC.
Also on the international front, the CII has working relationships and institutional agreements with 184 counterpart bodies in 87 countries.
It is the voice of Indian industry, has a close contact with government, and interacts on policy issues at both central and state levels.
It also co-ordinates a two-way flow of high ranking delegations from government, industrial and financial sectors.
The CII international division services industry through day-to-day networking with Indian foreign missions, and with its counterpart organisations across the globe.
