The training service provider, Global Maritime Legal Solutions (GMLS) was recommended for full Transport Education & Training Authority (Teta) accreditation in 2011, according to director Estee Tyler. Employers in the freight forwarding and international supply chain management industry can now obtain full Teta funding and broadbased black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) points from the GMLS selection of learnerships. These are based on the National Certificate in International Trade (NQF2); National Certificate in Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance (NQF 3); and Further Education and Training Certificate in Freight Forwarding and Customs Compliance (NQF 4).
