RESULTS of the hush-hush probe for alleged mismanagement by suspended Cape Town Airports Company chief Hennie Taljaard are expected within the next two weeks.
The investigation being undertaken by Cape Town forensic auditors KPMG is said to be at an extremely sensitive stage.
ACSA has hitherto declined to provide details of the allegations against high-profile Taljaard who was suspended with full pay while the investigation ran its course. The company says that until the investigation is complete and the findings made known he is not guilty of anything.
Meanwhile, acting head of Cape Town Airports Company Amien Nieftagodien has denied allegations that the wife of a senior company official had insisted that broekie lace be used to beautify airport walkways and buildings. He asserts this decision was taken by management a few years back.
Architects have been appointed to develop a unique, modern, branding for Cape Town International so that it will be immediately recognisable to international travellers.
