Taljaard hearing postponed

THE FORENSIC audit into allegations of mismanagement by Hennie Taljaard is complete but a disciplinary hearing into the affair has had to be postponed at the personal request of the suspended Cape Town Airports Company chief.
Charmaine Lodewuyk, ACSA's g.m. of marketing nationwide, told FTW at the time of going to press that Cape Town auditors KPMG had handed over the results of the probe and that management had acceded to Taljaard's request for a postponement.
As to why he had sought a postponement Lodewuyk said she had no idea, adding that a new date had yet to be set, to be presided over by an officer of the company's human resources department.
Asked why the probe had been kept so close to the chest all along, she asserted that it was for the benefit of the employee concerned. The rules have not changed for Hennie Taljaard.
