SPOORNET HAS started to turn the corner in its efforts to address its equipment shortfalls.
That’s the view of Carol O’Brien of the South African Chamber of Business (SACOB), who reports a willingness to improve.
“There is every indication that efforts are being made to address each problem as it arises. But everything is definitely being held back by the recapitalisation programme which remains a major challenge.
“Financial constraints are hampering efforts. It all stems from a lack of forward planning in past years. It has meant we have had to take a middle-of-the-road approach to all queries which are placed before us from our members.
“But we are satisfied that Spoornet is prepared to listen to the individual companies and is trying to accommodate them all as best as it can.”
Spoornet tries its best
