In the latest news from the Asian shipping industry comes a possible merger between South Korea’s two biggest container lines.
Reports are that the country’s number one, Hanjin Shipping, and number two, Hyundai Merchant Marine, are possibly going to merge.
South Korea’s government will discuss this possible merger at a vice-ministerial meeting on corporate restructuring, the JoongAng Ilbo newspaper reported.
