WITH THE arrival in the Port of Durban of its first vessel on the SA run, South Bay Shipping - a new contender in the SE Asia/Far East trade - has got underway, according to George Wong, finance director of SA agents, Pegasus Shipping.
This, he said, is only the beginning - operating a feeder service to SE Asia.
But wait for Phase 2 of the service - a broader reach out into other major Far Eastern ports, he added.
We've already had a number of clients phoning, he told FTW. Things are looking very positive.
