THERE ARE signs of an economic slowdown in most developed major economies, according to the Organisation for economic co-operation and development (OECD). February 2007 OECD data shows weakening performance in most of the major seven economies. These are the USA, Japan, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France and Italy. In contrast, the latest data for major OECD non-member economies point to strong expansion in China, moderating expansion in India and Brazil, but a weakening outlook for Russia, according to the OECD.
