The shipping lines MSC and Maersk, along with port and terminal operator DP World have showed distinct interest in the potential future for business in Iran.
At the same time, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, has said that the country is expecting to finalise around R2 312 billion worth of deals in the next decade.
Iran is still under the cosh of a range of sanctions. But various EU officials have said they will be gradually lifted.
