Clearing and forwarding on the cards
NTS FREIGHT started its airfreight and courier divisions at the beginning of this month, and all because of what Brian Bestenbier describes as 'customer demands'.
It's one thing any business cannot turn down, he says. We found more and more of our customers wanting it, so we have set up a completely separate division, which now offers clients the opportunity to choose any type of service they require.
Overnight services are on offer to all major cities in the country as well as some international destinations. In addition we will offer customers other services such as priority delivery, weekend and same day services.
Richard Mooa is in charge of the new international and airfreight division.
We plan to add clearing and forwarding to the division in the medium term, he says, with warehousing and logistics services available. Our relationship with domestic and international carriers is also very good, so we have the capacity to surprise even ourselves in this regard.
