Sebenza kick-off begins as soccer tournament ends

WHEN THE Africa Cup of Nations soccer tournament in Mali ended, the work really began for Sebenza Forwarding & Shipping. It was left to them to recover and return to South Africa the vast amount of telecommunication equipment on loan from this country to the organisers. Much of it was broadcasting equipment with a heavy supply of material required for installing telephonic and cellphone contact with South Africa. An Ilyushin IL-76TD freighter was chartered, and the entire load was brought back intact, with Sebenza's logistics team receiving high praise from Telkom executive director Geurt van Dijk for the manner in which they handled the entire project.
