JANUARY 20 sees the launch by Safmarine of a new service, the Big-Leaf Maple, between North Europe and Montreal, with relay to Toronto and the US Midwest. Three 2700/2800 teu capacity ships, with ample integral reefer container plug points, will provide a named day weekly service across the North Atlantic.
