ANNA COX SOUTH AFRICA and the Republic of Croatia have concluded negotiations for a bilateral trade agreement. Minister of Trade and Industry, Mandisi Mpahlwa, said the agreement provided the legal framework for trade and economic cooperation, and created a platform to facilitate business relationships between companies in the two countries. “It broadly commits the two countries to raise the profile of South Africa-Croatia relations as well as to establish an intergovernmental committee on trade for the effective implementation of the agreement,” he said. “ The two countries will take all necessary measures to facilitate bilateral trade.”
